Decluttering Fails Without Fixed Storage

Decluttering is often treated as a one-time reset.
In reality, it fails because the structure never changes.

When makeup does not have fixed storage, every cleanup is temporary. Items return to the surface because there is no assigned endpoint. After use, products are placed wherever space appears, not where they belong. The system allows movement, so disorder repeats.

The problem is not excess products.
It is the absence of fixed positions.

Without fixed storage, decluttering becomes a loop. Clean, use, scatter, repeat. Each cycle feels like failure, but nothing is actually wrong with the person maintaining it. The environment simply resets itself into disorder because it is designed to.

Not by reducing items, but by stopping relocation.

When placement is stable, cleanup stops being a recurring task. Items return to the same location because there is nowhere else to go. Decluttering ends not when things look clean, but when movement is no longer possible.
